You pay for each set of calculations for each home. ACCA Manual J calculations are performed for single family and small multifamily like duplexes.

What you get.

• You will receive an easy to read summary sheet of heating and cooling load calculations.
• Now every analysis is room by room. No additional cost.
• All supporting information and calculations in pdf format.

What we need.

• Full set of dimensioned plans including floor plans, elevations, site plan and drawing details.
• Precise location and orientation. Provide development plans of any roads not built. (May be included in above.)
• Local and State Building Code Jurisdiction.
• Any specific requirements of local and state codes relating to heating and cooling loads. Otherwise calculations will assume the Model Code of the Jurisdiction, e.g. 2009 IRC.
• Contact name for designer (new home) or auditor (existing home). This helps speed up the answering of technical questions. No work which requires higher fees will be performed without client approval.

Items which may require additional costs.

• Calculations are for a “block” load (entire residence) “room-by-room” load.  Room loads calculations are performed at an additional  no additional charge.
• Forms for any code jurisdiction, energy star, or any other program may be completed for free or at an additional charge. Submit form and details prior to analysis for exact charges.
• At this time we do not provide any data collection services to obtain information on existing homes. We recommend using a certified RESNET or BPI energy auditor to collect necessary info on existing homes at your expense.
• Re-running the calculations due to modifications or changes to the building may be performed for free or at additional cost depending on type and severity of change.
• All results will be provided in pdf format. Any printed and/or mailed copies may be at additional cost.
• Typical turn around for calculations is one week. If you need it sooner, contact us; we will try to accommodate your schedule. Same day or first half of next day may require additional charge.

Payment

Payment can be made by paypal only. You do not need a paypal account.

Model Homes

We will perform worse case calculations for model homes at our standard rate. A calculation for each actual home, upon request, will be made at a reduced price.

Consulting and Answer Questions.

Calculations are based on submitted plans and information. As part of our basic fee, no feedback is provided on the energy efficiency of the home. If you would like to have multiple runs on different plans for same home, check with us on pricing.
